The Ngozumba, or Gokyo glacier in the Gokyo valley, is Nepal's longest glacier (40 km). Due to climatic changes on Earth, it is actually receding and not restoring itself as it melts, except at it's very head. Mt. Everest can been seen in the distance in the far right of the panorama. The Buddhist prayer flags on top of the viewpoints are welcoming the trekkers. When you are about to resign, the sight of the flags will keep you going upward.
